Bonnie & Hide

Genuine, full-grain leather goods individually crafted to embrace natural character and lasting durability.

Built to last

Quality leather is naturally strong and durable, making it a great choice for working dogs and everyday wear

Gets better with age

Genuine leather develops a beautiful patina over time, giving each collar its own unique character

Naturally Unique

No two pieces of leather are identical. Natural grain, markings and colour variations make every collar one of a kind

Comfortable with Wear

Leather gradually softens and becomes more flexible with use, helping it mould to your dog's neck

Repairable

Unlike many synthetic collars, leather collars can often be repaired, reconditioned or fitted with replacement hardware

Handcrafted with Care

Handmade collars are individually cut, assembled and finished, rather than mass-produced

Meet the Maker: Holli Carberry

At the heart of Bonnie & Hide is our founder and owner, Holli Carberry.  Holli’s deep-rooted connection to the land and animals began early, raised on a farm near the rural town of Apsley, Victoria.

Growing up surrounded by open country, working livestock, loyal farm dogs, she developed a lifelong love for animals and a profound respect for durable, purposeful gear.

It was here that she learned the true value of things made to work hard and stand the test of time.

Frustrated years later by mass-produced, synthetic collars that quickly split, frayed, or lacked soul, Holli set out to revive the time-honored art of traditional leathercraft.

Combining her country roots with an eye for premium design, she intentionally shaped Bonnie & Hide around the beauty of slow, deliberate craftsmanship. Every hide is personally selected, every single collar is cut, assembled, and finished by hand right in the workshop.

For Holli, leather isn’t just a material—it’s a living medium that tells a story, growing softer, richer, and more full of character with every single adventure.

When you choose a Bonnie & Hide piece, you are investing in authentic craftsmanship backed by a lifelong dedication to quality, durability, and the unbreakable bond we share with our dogs.

"Growing up in Apsley, I learned that the best things in life are built with honesty, patience, and care. I put a piece of that heritage into every single collar I finish by hand. I’m so incredibly grateful to craft something beautiful and lasting for your best friend, and I can't wait to see where your next adventure takes you."
